Deniz is a senior partner at Özay&Demir, having specialized in the conduct of complex disputes on Real-Estate Law and Tax Law for over 10 years. He has been responsible for the conduct of high profile litigation at all levels from Supreme Court to European Court of Justice. He is currently advising a number of national and international clients on his expertise areas.
Following the graduation from the Ankara Fiscal Vocational High School, he spent five years in various Tax Offices working as a clerk while he was studying Law at Ankara University. This experience gave him a valuable insight into Tax Authorities’ internal workings and procedures. He, then, qualified to take judicial training for 2 years and successfully worked as the Public Prosecutor of Gaziantep. However, his talent in dispute resolution led him to resign for being a lawyer. His considerable experience on “both sides of the fence” is invaluable in dispute resolution. He recently started his LL.M on Tax Law which will add on his expertise of Tax law
